These Internship programs provide an opportunity to have a first-hand experience in the social and pharmaceutical sector as a learner. Well-planned few weeks of trainings provides the student a hands-on experience of various components of an organization. It also helps the organizations to tap the skills and knowledge of the students and to engage them in their real time projects.
About presentation, the students are required to present a detailed report. They are finally assessed based on the quality of their presentation and work.
During the program the Institute organizes learning and networking events with various pharmaceutical professional bodies and Industries. Some of the topics covered are human resource management in pharmaceutical industry, healthcare academia–industry interface and opportunities, challenges, and innovations to provide current perspective on pharma industry.
The Institute also organizes an activity called PharMaCon’19 in which all industrial experts from different domains and different companies, are invited to open up real world issues and challenges in front of students. Self development and learning activities such as management games, group discussions, analytical enhancing ability tests, advertisement designing, book reviews, and field visits, keeps the enthusiasm a level up throughout the program.
The Institute has facilities for games & sports, cultural activities, annual fest and blood donation camps are also encouraged. The Institute promotes participation of students in various conferences and competitions, presenting their papers and posters.
Candidate need to have obtain a bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 year’s duration with at least 50% marks from a recognized university in Pharmacy, Medicine (MBBS), BDS, Biotechnology, BAMS, BHMS, Science, Life Science and Engineering with a valid score of entrance exams like MAT/CMAT/ATMA/CAT/XAT/GMAT/GPAT/SDCPGBM-DMAT.
The eligible candidates will be invited for a written ability test (WAT) followed by a personal interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate is based on his/her performance in the qualifying examination with a proportional score in MAT/CMAT/ATMA/CAT/XAT/GMAT/GPAT/SDCPGBM-DMAT, the group discussion, and the interview.
For candidates, desirous of admission to PGDM Pharmaceutical Management and who do not have MAT/CMAT/ATMA/CAT/XAT/GMAT/GPAT Scores, for such candidates Institute will conduct its own exam DMAT.
The application will be evaluated based on your academic qualifications and management entrance exam score. Short-listed candidates will be called to attend the written ability test & personal interview which would be intimated through a call and e-mail.
The academic session begins in mid of June or as may be notified.
The average study time on campus is about 30 hours a week plus 10 hours of self-study which makes it about 40 hours a week. Students must study in 5 sessions a day and each session is of 1 hour.
